Eew! Revolting Roman Remedies at The Roman Baths
About
A family half-term trail at the Roman Baths where children become Roman doctors-in-training, matching patients' ailments to revolting Roman remedies.
This October half term, families can pick up a free trail at the Roman Baths and help a series of Roman patients by matching their ailments to revolting remedies, discovering how Romans used herbs, plants and other squirm-inducing ingredients. Visitors can also meet a Roman doctor and take part in Roman remedy-making activities, all included with admission. On 31 October there is a special Halloween Scraptastic craft event with Children's Scrapstore Bristol, costing £5 per child. The site is open daily from 09:00 to 18:00 during the season.
