Home Educator Day - Star Seekers workshop

Explore starlight and the James Webb Telescope in a hands-on workshop about directing light, the visible spectrum, infrared and diffraction, alongside exhibits and a Planetarium show.

The Star Seekers workshop explores astronomical light: participants investigate how to direct and deflect light, learn about the James Webb Telescope, and experiment with visible light, infrared, heat exchange and diffraction. The day also includes interactive exhibits and a live Planetarium show. Choose the 11:00 workshop (10:00 arrival) or 13:00 workshop (10:30 arrival); the workshop slots finish at 11:45 and 14:00, and the overall day ends at 15:30.
