Home Educator Day - Soundscape Studio workshop

Experiment with sound, hearing and frequency using interactive gadgets, changing ear positions and comparing how people and animals hear.

Soundscape Studio explores how sound travels and how we hear and process it. Participants experiment with interactive sound gadgets, compare volume and pitch, test their hearing, and try differently positioned ears while considering how animal hearing differs. The Home Educator Day also includes interactive exhibits and a live Planetarium show. Choose the 11:00 workshop (10:00 arrival) or 13:00 workshop (10:30 arrival); the workshop slots finish at 11:45 and 14:00, and the overall day ends at 15:30.
