About

A Buddhist day retreat at Wootton Village Hall exploring the symbolism of the Wheel of Life, guided by Kadampa Meditation Centre Kent's principal teacher.

This day retreat examines the Buddhist Wheel of Life, an ancient diagram traditionally taught by Buddha that sets out the Four Noble Truths, the six realms of existence and the twelve links of dependent origination. Through talks and meditation, participants explore the causes of suffering and the path to liberation, learning to recognise and change these patterns in their own experience. The day runs from 10am to 5pm, includes a vegetarian lunch and refreshments, and is led by James Baskerville, KMC Kent's principal teacher with over 25 years of meditation experience.
