Being a Friend of the World
About
A half-day Christmas meditation course in Canterbury exploring Buddhist teachings on shifting from self-focus to kindness and connection with others.
Kadampa Meditation Centre Kent hosts this half-day Christmas course at the Friends Meeting House in Canterbury, guided by teacher Chelvi. Through practical Buddhist teachings and meditation sessions, participants explore how to move beyond self-absorption towards a more open, caring way of living — what Buddhism calls the bodhisattva path. The afternoon runs from 2pm to 5pm with registration at 1.40pm, two teaching sessions and a break, and is framed in the reflective spirit of Christmas. Everyone is welcome.
