Stained Glass Creations - Saturday Workshop
About
A beginner-friendly Saturday workshop at West Suffolk College in Sudbury teaching glass cutting, copper foiling and soldering to make a stained glass piece to take home.
This five-hour practical workshop offers a hands-on introduction to stained glass work, aimed at beginners or those refreshing their skills. Participants learn traditional techniques of cutting and shaping glass to a pattern, copper foiling and soldering, guided by tutor Jeanette with plenty of individual attention. All materials are provided and included in the price, and each attendee leaves with a finished stained glass creation. The class is capped at six students; under-18s must be supervised, and it is not suitable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to lead solder.
