Victorian Christmas at the Framework Knitters Museum

A free festive family day at the museum with Victorian decorations, carols, crafts, food heritage and a chance to meet Father Christmas.

The museum hosts a Victorian-themed Christmas day with decorated workers' cottages, costumed characters, carols from local choirs, and traditional crafts in the Chapel Gallery. Visitors can learn about Victorian mince pies and festive food, enjoy mulled drinks and seasonal treats from Parker's Yard, and browse the museum shop. Children and families can also meet Father Christmas in his parlour, though only certain sections of the museum are open on the day.
