Haunted Homes: A Horror Writing Workshop

A free adult horror-writing workshop at Rochdale Central Library exploring how horror fiction can help us reclaim and understand anxieties about the home.

This two-hour workshop examines horror fiction on the page and screen, questioning who and what belongs in the home and how technology opens new doors for unwelcome spectres of history and society. Participants take part in discussions and guided writing activities to explore what the home means to them and confront anxieties creatively. No previous writing experience is needed, there is no pressure to share work, and pens and paper are provided. The event is suitable for adults and places are limited, with booking required.
