COBinet of Curiosities

A community-created exhibition of multidisciplinary works inspired by objects from Blackburn Museum.

Creatives of Blackburn (COB), a group of local artists, makers and creatives aged 18–35, selected museum objects connected with their interests and created multidisciplinary works reflecting folklore, diving, fashion, clouds and local communities. See the works in the Watercolour Gallery on the first floor. The museum has lift access to the gallery; it is closed on Sundays, Mondays and Bank Holidays.
