Saturday Art Club
About
A free weekly Saturday craft and making club at Blackburn Museum for 13–16 year olds, covering textiles, ceramics and printmaking.
The Craft&Making Saturday Club is a free programme of weekly workshops for young people aged 13–16 with a passion for making. Members explore a variety of craft processes including textiles, ceramics and printmaking, using the museum collections as inspiration. Sessions are small and friendly, without exam pressure, and members can hold small exhibitions in the museum's community gallery. The programme also includes visits to local craft businesses and national Saturday Club events such as Masterclasses with industry professionals and the Summer Show.
