A free family Halloween trail through Alloway linking Rozelle House and Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, featuring 12 handcrafted Tam o' Shanter characters.
Visitors can take a spooky wander through Alloway between Rozelle House Museum & Galleries and the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, discovering 12 handcrafted characters inspired by Robert Burns' tale Tam o' Shanter. Trail sheets cost £3 and are available from both venues. The trail runs from 10 October to 8 November 2026 during opening hours: Rozelle House is open Monday to Saturday 10am–5pm and Sunday 12 noon–4.30pm, while the museum is open daily 10am–4.30pm. It is a free drop-in event suitable for all ages, with no booking required.
