Half Term Family Day – Beyond Bayeux Tapestry Now

A family half-term day of hands-on tapestry activities, weaving workshops and storytelling.

For children aged 3–13 with their families. Christie Swallow leads collaborative weaving, Dalia James offers miniature tapestry-making for ages eight and over, Laura Sampson tells stories, and Arkem Walton leads a shared illustrated tapestry. Storytelling starts at 11:00 and 15:30 for ages five and under, and at 12:00 and 14:30 for ages six and over. A quiet space with ear defenders and sensory toys is available. Activities are free; booking is recommended and walk-ins are welcome.
