A free awareness session at Torry Library introducing health literacy and how people can take an active part in their own health.
This free awareness session explores health literacy — having the knowledge, skills, understanding and confidence to use health care information for your own needs. It looks at how information is communicated and how individuals can be active participants in their own health. The session runs from 10:30am to 12:00pm and is part of efforts to improve health literacy across Aberdeen; places are limited to 10 and registration is required.
