Winter Watercolour Landscapes: Keeping it Minimal
About
A techniques-based watercolour workshop with artist Nicky Bell exploring minimal, free-flowing winter landscapes, suitable for complete beginners.
This hands-on workshop focuses on minimal, free-flowing winter landscapes in watercolour, led by professional artist Nicky Bell. Participants learn wet-on-dry and wet-into-wet techniques, colour mixing for seasonal palettes, brush techniques for varied textures, and how different papers and paint types affect results. Working from reference imagery and imagination, the session is aimed at complete beginners and those refreshing their skills, with no drawing experience required. Materials are supplied; attendees should bring an apron or old shirt.
