BA Musical Theatre students at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland stage the musical 9 to 5, based on the 1980s film, over four days in December.

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland presents 9 to 5, the musical based on the much-loved 1980s film, performed by BA Musical Theatre students. The story follows three office workers — Violet, Judy and Doralee — who join forces to kidnap their sexist boss Franklin Hart and challenge the misogyny of corporate America. Performances run from 1st to 4th December 2026 with matinee (1pm–3.30pm) and evening (7pm–9.30pm) slots, promising comedy, toe-tapping tunes and a generous sprinkle of Dolly Parton.
