Writing Tales with Joseph Coelho

A family creative workshop with author Joseph Coelho, featuring a reading from Children of the Throne, rain song poem writing and rain dances.

Award-winning author and poet Joseph Coelho leads a lively one-hour family workshop inspired by his picture book Children of the Throne. After a reading of his story about climate change and imagining a better world, participants write their own rain song poem with his guidance. The session finishes with the group on their feet performing the songs as rain dances in a celebration of community and small actions. It is part of the Globe's Telling Tales family event series.
