Beyond Caring

Alexander Zeldin's drama about contract cleaners on a night shift at a meat-packing factory runs at the Almeida Theatre as part of The Inequalities trilogy.

Alexander Zeldin's play follows Susan, Grace and Becky, contract cleaners working nights at a meat-packing factory under their supervisor Ian, as they grow closer during snatched tea breaks. The production exposes the erosion of dignity in a zero-hour working world and forms part of The Inequalities trilogy of three new productions. Evening performances run Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with trilogy days on Wednesdays and Saturdays also featuring a 1pm performance of Beyond Caring. Access performances include audio-described, BSL-interpreted, captioned and relaxed-environment shows, and a free Almeida For Free performance for under-25s takes place on 13 May.
