Love
About
Alexander Zeldin's play Love, about families and strangers thrown together in temporary accommodation, runs at the Almeida Theatre from April to May 2027.
Alexander Zeldin's Love is an intimate drama set in the run-up to Christmas, following families and strangers placed in temporary accommodation. Colin cares for his elderly mother Barbara in the room next to Emma and Dean, whose family of four is soon to be five; forced together, boundaries blur and an unlikely community forms. Performances run Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with the play also staged at 4pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays as part of The Inequalities trilogy days. The production is part of Zeldin's Inequalities trilogy of plays about work, home and community across the UK.
