Participants will learn about the traditional crafts of Islamic and Christian bookbinding and be guided to make their own book.

The event explores the history of Islamic and Christian bookbinding, focusing on shared techniques across both traditions. Attendees will dive into the craft before being guided through making their own book using traditional methods. The session is led by Flavio Marzo, the Head of Conservation at Cambridge.
