About
A two-hour outdoor bushcraft and spooky craft session for children aged 2–12 at Abbotts Hall, with fire lighting, wand whittling and potions.
Essex Wildlife Trust runs this family session in the woods at Abbotts Hall, combining bushcraft skills with Halloween-themed activities. Children can mix potions, whittle a wizarding wand, learn fire lighting and enjoy a treat cooked on the fire, alongside spooky autumnal crafts. The whole two-hour session takes place outdoors on mixed terrain, and all children must be accompanied by an adult with advance booking required.
