Abbotts Hall Wilder Holiday Club

A day-long outdoor holiday club at Abbotts Hall for children who love wildlife, with nature discovery, fire lighting, den building, crafts and pond dipping.

Essex Wildlife Trust runs this Wilder Holiday Club day at Abbotts Hall, running 9am to 3pm for children who enjoy wildlife and the outdoors. Led by the trust's team, the programme includes fire lighting, den building, natural crafts, tool use, pond dipping and animal tracking, alongside free play and nature discovery. All activities take place outdoors whatever the weather, and children need weather-appropriate clothing, a snack, water and a nut-free packed lunch; a completed consent form is required for each child attending.
