Repair Cafe

A pop-up Repair Café where volunteers help visitors fix broken household items and learn repair skills to keep things out of landfill.

Visitors bring along broken household items — clothing, electricals, electronics, small furniture or devices — and work with volunteers to repair them. The Repair Café ethos encourages participants to get involved in the repairs so they gain the confidence to attempt their own. Free tickets must be booked per item, selecting a repair type (general or electrical, electronics, textile, or computer/tablet/phone) and a time slot to match with available repairers. Some items, such as microwave ovens, cannot be repaired.
