Somewhere Between Here & There

An exhibition of Ben Winter's paintings inspired by glimpses of landscape seen from night train windows, exploring movement and solidity.

Ben Winter exhibits a series of works developed from moments glimpsed through night train windows on journeys to and from London. The paintings range from more abstract pieces formed by the speed of the train to slower-speed observations with more recognisable reference points. Using mark making, colour and light, the artist explores the contrast between movement and concrete solidity. A Meet the Artist session takes place on Thursday 1st October from 4pm to 6pm.
