Halloween Cyanotype Printing

A Halloween-themed cyanotype printing workshop for 9-12 year olds, led by photographer Attila Pasek.

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the history and science of cyanotype, the Prussian blue photographic printing process developed by Sir John Herschel in 1842. Participants see demonstrations of coating, exposing and developing prints, then create their own artworks to take home. Children are encouraged to bring flat, translucent objects such as pressed flowers or patterned paper to make photograms. The session runs from 2pm to 4.30pm and is designed for 9 to 12 year olds with no prior experience.
