Festive Cocktails and Calligraphy at The LAB, Cambridge

A beginner-friendly festive modern calligraphy workshop with cocktails at The LAB cocktail bar in Cambridge.

The Cambridge Calligrapher hosts an introduction to modern calligraphy with a festive theme at The LAB Cocktail Bar. Complete beginners learn dip pen and nib techniques, stroke exercises, the alphabet and letter joining, then apply their skills to a festive project such as gift tags, place cards or cards, with embellishments, gold foil and a wax seal station. All materials including a starter kit are provided to take home, and experienced calligraphers can use an improvers workbook. The session lasts two and a half hours and is for ages 14 and over.
