Festive Calligraphy Workshop

A festive-themed beginner Modern Calligraphy workshop at Sparrows End Farm Shop with dip pen basics, gift tags, wax seals and a starter kit to take home.

The Cambridge Calligrapher hosts a festive evening of Modern Calligraphy aimed at complete beginners, starting with dip pen and nib exercises before moving on to letterforms, joining and words. Participants then apply their skills to a festive project such as gift tags, wrapping paper or a poster, with embellishments, gold foil and a wax seal station. A welcome drink is included and all materials, including a starter kit, nib holder and ink, are taken home. Experienced calligraphers can use an improvers workbook instead; the session lasts two and a half hours and is for ages 14 and up.
