Elizabeth Love Museum Art Workshops

A series of adult art workshops at the Elizabeth Love Museum using its building and collection as inspiration for drawing, painting, collage and printing.

Led by an experienced artist and teacher, these small-group workshops (maximum eight participants) develop drawing and painting skills while exploring the Elizabeth Love Museum in Pontefract. Each session focuses on a different group of objects collected by Elizabeth Love and her brother Joe, with upcoming sessions covering Christmas card drawing and gel, stencil and monoprinting. The sessions run 10:30am to 3:30pm and are suitable for adults aged 18+ with no prior art experience; tea and coffee are provided but participants bring their own lunch. The workshop space is on the lower floor via a spiral staircase and the tour includes upper floors reached by stairs, with no lift access.
