Adult Art Workshops

Adult art workshops explore sculpture and plaster carving using materials and techniques inspired by the Museum’s collection.

Harry Malkin leads November’s sculpture workshop using wire, modelling putty and newspaper to make a miniature mining figure. Sean Barry leads the March session in plaster carving, using tools to chip, scratch and shape a three-dimensional sculpture. Ruth Kersley’s separately ticketed stained-glass workshop on 14 November has its own event listing.
