Clack and Yak: Knitting Group

Platform's friendly weekly knitting group meets at the Platform Cafe for chat, tea and knitting, sewing or crocheting, with materials provided.

Clack and Yak is Platform's weekly knitting group, meeting at the Platform Cafe at The Bridge for a chat and a cuppa while knitting, sewing or crocheting. Members choose their own projects, often making items for good causes such as Macmillan Cancer Support and small hats for premature babies in hospitals, and the group offers advice on tricky patterns. Beginners, improvers and experienced knitters are all welcome, with needles, patterns and wool provided. The group runs for adults aged 16 and over, with no sessions on Monday 28 September or Monday 12 October.
