About
A family trail around Calke Abbey's gardens spotting scarecrows made by staff and volunteers, then voting for a winner.
This October half term, visitors can follow an outdoor trail through the gardens and pleasure grounds at Calke Abbey to find scarecrows created by staff and volunteers. Each scarecrow represents a job at Calke, and families can guess which job each one does. Once all the scarecrows have been spotted, visitors can cast a vote for their favourite. The trail starts at the Ticket Office, is suitable for children of all ages and is accessible for wheelchairs and buggies.
