Action on Male Suicide: Dundee

A day of research, discussion and collaboration on male suicide, led by researcher Dr Susie Bennett with local voices, at The Steeple in Dundee.

This day-long event forms part of the Action on Male Suicide: National Conversations series exploring male suicide as a public health issue. Dr Susie Bennett delivers a research keynote on why men die by suicide, including frameworks for understanding suicidal distress, societal pressures and childhood experiences. Contributions from people with lived experience and local organisations are followed by an open discussion on barriers to support, gaps in provision and priorities for change. The event is open to anyone with an interest in improving outcomes for men, from professionals to people with lived experience.
