Family Day in the Painted Hall
About
A monthly family take-over of the Painted Hall with themed activity stations, storytelling, dress-up and free drop-in crafts.
On the third Sunday of each month, activity stations are set up throughout the Painted Hall encouraging all ages to play, create and learn together. Stations include Sit and Sketch, Build and Connect, dress-up, a Curiosity Corner run by the Collections team, Ask and Explore, and 20-minute interactive storytelling sessions. Each month's activities respond to a different theme drawn from the site's history, such as Art and Architecture or Crowns and Palaces, and free drop-in arts and crafts sessions run in the King William Undercroft Café below the hall.
