Fungi Field Recorder Day

A field day recording the fungi of Stanmore Common, led by mycologist Mark Spencer, open to naturalists of all levels.

This Field Recorder Day brings together nature enthusiasts to find, identify and record fungi on Stanmore Common in an informal setting. Fungi specialist Mark Spencer leads the day and provides guidance throughout, with participants of all experience levels encouraged to share knowledge and build confidence in biological recording. The records gathered help document the distribution, seasonality and ecology of UK fungi species and support site managers in protecting rare species. The session runs for six hours and is aimed at adults aged 18 and over.
