A Christmas Story with Father Christmas

A shared family storytime in which Father Christmas recounts Samuel Johnson’s search for the definition of Christmas, with a photo opportunity for families.

Father Christmas tells the group the story of Johnson’s search for Christmas’s definition. This is shared storytime, not a private grotto appointment; adults may photograph children with Father Christmas. First-floor access is by stairs only. The published programme window is 11:30–15:00; visitors book a 30-minute group session within it. The individual session-start grid is unavailable, so this is one availability window rather than inferred appointment slots.
