Young Driver Experience

Young people aged 9–17 take practical driving lessons around a temporary layout of roundabouts, junctions, parking zones and manoeuvring areas.

Young Driver creates a temporary driving layout with roundabouts, junctions, parking zones and manoeuvring areas. Automatic cars with hand controls are available on each South of England Showground date, supporting pupils with varied additional needs, including wheelchair users and neurodivergent young people. Instructors are government-approved and trained to work with under-17s. The two announced dates are 25 October and 15 November, 9am–5pm. Lessons start at £46.99 for ages 9–17.
