About

Woodland Day: Autumn Taster for Young People is a free programme by Sussex Wildlife Trust offering practical woodland discovery and conservation activities for young people.

These free autumn tasters are part of the Sussex Wildlife Trust Youth Action programme. They introduce the planned Coastal Connection and Woodland Discovery course for February, March, and April 2027. Activities include campfire cooking, practical woodland conservation, hammocks, green woodworking, and crafts. The Trust provides equipment, travel support when needed, and a lunch cooked on the fire.
