Continuing Stone Carving with Alejandro Lopez

Develop a limestone carving from a clay maquette, with demonstrations, technique advice and individual guidance from tutor Alejandro Lopez.

This six-week Wednesday course runs 14 October–18 November 2026, 13:30–16:30, outdoors in ESW’s Courtyard Bays. Participants shape limestone using hand tools, with individual guidance and group demonstrations. The course includes materials, stone-carving tools, dust masks and eye protection; participants must bring their own safety shoes or boots. It is intended for people who have completed Beginners Stone Carving or have equivalent experience. The full-course options are £207 without stone or £257 with stone; concession prices are £186 and £236 respectively. The course began on 14 October; five meetings remain from 21 October through 18 November.
