About
An exhibition of drawings and paintings by Richard Johnson from a yearlong residency charting the changing Humberhead Peatlands.
The Soluble Edges presents new drawings and paintings by Richard Johnson, made during a yearlong residency on the Humberhead Peatlands. Between February 2026 and February 2027 he visited the moors at all hours, recording how the landscape changes with the seasons, week by week and by the minute. The work draws on his time with the people restoring the peatlands and those who live there. The exhibition is supported by Natural England.
