3D Modelling Workshop

A one-day beginner workshop for ages 16+ learning 3D modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering in Blender, ending with a completed textured model.

A one-day beginner workshop in Blender, the 3D modelling software, aimed at participants aged 16 and over. The session covers industry use cases, navigating the interface and fundamental tools, then moves to 3D and reference modelling techniques for constructing geometry, followed by texturing, lighting and rendering. Participants leave with a completed, textured 3D model; computers are provided and the workshop is taught in person in the museum's new media studio.
