The Hidden Beacon Spooky Backstage Tours

A free spooky backstage tour of the Beacon Arts Centre with ghostly pirate-themed encounters, run with The Walking Theatre Company.

This family-friendly Halloween tour takes visitors beyond the public areas of the Beacon Arts Centre, exploring Custom House Quay, backstage corridors and under-stage spaces normally closed off. Led in partnership with The Walking Theatre Company, the hour-long tour features Captain Kidd and a Galoshans character guiding groups through immersive encounters themed on smugglers, dock workers, lost sailors and shipwrecked spirits. Two tours run on Wednesday 28 October, at 4pm and 5pm, and all areas are accessible, with under-16s needing adult accompaniment.
