Our City, Our Stories
About
A free exhibition of more than 70 oral-history stories celebrating Cardiff's musical heritage, part of Cardiff Music City Festival.
Our City, Our Stories is the culmination of an intergenerational oral history project funded through a Welsh Government Priorities for Culture grant, which brought younger and older Cardiff residents together to record memories of the city's musical heritage. The free exhibition displays more than 70 of these stories, covering everything from legendary performances by The Beatles and The Clash to iconic venues such as the Top Rank Suite. It runs at Central Library Hub from 12 to 24 October as part of the Cardiff Music City Festival programme, which also includes talks, poetry, installations, photography and film screenings.
