About
A newcomers evening at York Buddhist Centre where three sangha members talk about their Buddhist practice, with guided meditation, discussion and questions.
This newcomers evening offers a chance to find out what being a Buddhist is like. It opens with a short guided meditation, followed by a break, then three members of the sangha each give a short talk about their practice and what it has meant in their lives. There is an opportunity to ask questions and discuss Buddhist practice with other community members. The evening is open to all over 18, especially non-Buddhists, and no booking is needed.
