About
A sold-out 45-minute guided village walk in Great Missenden exploring the places that inspired Roald Dahl's books, with readings about famous tricks.
This guided trek takes visitors around Great Missenden to see locations that inspired Roald Dahl's stories, including Matilda's library and Sophie's orphanage from The BFG. Guide Michael reads extracts featuring tricks from the books, such as newts in water jugs, pheasants in prams and dead mice in sweet jars. The walk lasts about 45 minutes along pavements and a playing field, with plenty of stops, and is best suited to children over 5; it is not suitable for buggies.
