Setting up a Staff Sustainability Network
About
British Library staff share how they built a thriving Sustainability Staff Network, with an interactive SWOT exercise for launching similar initiatives.
This session, part of Green Libraries Week, explores how British Library staff turned their passion for climate action into an impactful Sustainability Staff Network. The founder and chair explains how the group was set up, managed and what it has achieved, while a member describes how she integrated environmental work into her day-to-day role. An interactive SWOT analysis exercise helps attendees assess how to launch a similar initiative in their own organisation, with collective insights shared afterwards. Though organised with libraries in mind, people from other sectors are welcome to book.
