Royal Ballet and Opera Encore: Così fan tutte

A contemporary reimagining of Mozart’s comedy of manners, Così fan tutte, exploring themes of seduction and unstable reality.

The opera, which first scandalized audiences in 1790, follows a plan hatched by two young men to test the fidelity of their girlfriends. Netia Jones reimagines Mozart’s work through a sharp contemporary lens, blending 18th-century romantic trickery with high-tech deceit. The production features an exciting young cast and is conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock.
