Viol da Gamba recital by Sarah Small

A solo viola da gamba recital by cycle-touring musician Sarah Small, with music reflecting landscapes affected by climate change.

Sarah Small, a musician who tours by bicycle, performs a solo viola da gamba recital titled A Response. The programme is dedicated to places she has visited where land and life are fading due to human-caused climate change, mixing original compositions with traditional folk melodies from the British Isles and French baroque elements. Each piece reflects a rich past, present emptiness and the possibility of renewal if action is taken.
