About
Cellist, singer and poet Sarah Smout uses looped cello, vocals and Arctic field recordings in a new work about glaciers and climate change.
Inspired by Sarah Smout’s expedition in Svalbard, the performance combines live-looped cello, ethereal vocals and recorded sounds of ice and melting glaciers. The show previews work connected to her forthcoming debut album and explores human relationships with the living world.
