Wrexham Plas Madoc Repair Cafe

A free volunteer-run repair cafe where people bring broken items to be fixed while enjoying tea and coffee with neighbours.

Volunteer repairers at the Plas Madoc Repair Cafe attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought in by visitors, free of charge. Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though microwaves are excluded for safety reasons. While waiting, visitors can enjoy tea or coffee and chat with neighbours, and repairers can even show them how the fix is done. More volunteer fixers are welcome to come along.
