CWGC Themed Tours 2026 - Brookwood Military Cemetery - Women of Brookwood

A free 90-minute guided walking tour of Brookwood Military Cemetery exploring the stories of women who served in the World Wars.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission runs a themed tour at Brookwood Military Cemetery, its largest UK site at around 37 acres, focusing on the Women of Brookwood. Led by an experienced volunteer guide, the tour visits graves and memorials honouring nurses, auxiliaries, codebreakers and other women who served during the First and Second World Wars. It lasts approximately 90 minutes and covers about 1500 metres on grass with some uneven ground, meeting at the Canada Building near the Dawney Hill entrance.
