A guided after-dark canoe journey on Coniston Water for families, finishing with a hot drink and stargazing.
Families paddle across Coniston Water in stable rafted canoes, setting out in daylight to learn the basics before darkness falls. The group stops in a secluded bay for a hot brew while guides lead stargazing, identifying constellations and — on clear nights — viewing the Milky Way. Participants then paddle home guided by glow sticks; minimum age is 8 years.
